What Time is it, Mr. Wolf?
Encroaching oblivion
You say we want too much too soon,
Our existence an impossible ask
For the big bad predator. You have crossed
This same floor with this same trepidation.
Now though, you tell us to stop;
Say that each inch we creep towards safety
Risks provocation.
Will you stand there watching?
Will you join in with new found fangs?
Will you find favour with your former fear?
Is it lunch time?
