Adrien Smart

Contributing Author and Spoken Word Artist

Adrien L. Smart is a writer of poetry, short fiction, and screenplays living in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Adrien is a graduate of the University of Victoria and his spoken word poetry has been previously featured in The Blasted Tree, contributing a video poem: White Knuckles/Red Tablecloth along with an interview where he touches on his writing process, and how he got his start as a poet. In 2015, he released a 6-track spoken word EP, and has recently compiled a constantly growing collection of short stories that can be read on Instagram via the handle @dullboyfiction.

His work is grounded in dark humor, pop-culture, satire, and surrealism.
